Hello all
Can i schedule import/export from oracle to sql server.???? i want to keep timing for this purpose. At specified time import/export should start automatically and data should be updated in the Sql Server.
if anybody knows this pls focus some more light on this matter.

Only, what?

Normally you cannot just export from Oracle and import that into SqlServer...
Much preparation is needed to resolve inconsistancies in datatypes, field and table names, etc...
You may be better off, assuming just the data is needed and you have predefined the Sqlserver table to match ( at least as far as is possible) the Oracle data fields, to do a delimited file spool output from the Oracle table and load it into SqlServer.

If you want the Heterogenous Service Option, or the Generic Connectivity using ODBC, there are lots of white-papers in the Oracle Tech Network about this.

After setting this up, you can access the tables from sqlserver just like a normal database linked table.

or if you can always resolve to export/import utilities.
