I just installed the SQL 2005 management studio exppress edition and couldn't find the import and export tools. Can anybody answers "Why"? Thanks

Well, I found answer for myself. This version of software doesn't have import/export ability.

Import/export is actually part of DTS. DTS is not called Integration Services and isn't included in the Express edition.

Hi Denny, Thank you for taking time answering the question. Yes, there is no import/export wizard in Management Studio Express. The import/export wizard in full Management Studio relies on SQL Server Integration Services to move the data, but SSIS is not present when only SQL Server Express is installed.
