Import/Export Custom Recipients Information

I am trying to import/export to update my custom recipients address, phone #'s, country, etc. but when I try to do this only about 60% complete. The others have event ID 288 "unable to modify object ***** because it could not be found" (*** represents users alias). Any clues on how to get this to complete to 100% so I don't have to manually update these?
