Import Excel Into Access Project

Hi, I was just wondering if it is possible to import data from an excel spreadsheet into an Access project database. I was told you cant but all the help menus say you can. Thanks

It depends on your Security/Permissions in SQL Server. If your permissions allow you to make tables then you can import. i.e. make a table in sql server.

If you have the permissions, select File, then Import Data and be sure that "All Files" or Excel files are listed in the file type of the dialog box
