Import excel file Problem

I have to import an excel file to my contact folder. When I try to import the excel file and choosing "replaces duplicate with item duplicates", I got a new duplicate contact with same name, and other fields except the company (I changed the company name in the excel file). Is there anyway that I can update the contact list w/o create a new contact if same name but different company or other fields (as phone, pager,.. )
Does anyone have any idea?
