import excel chart to powerpoint 1

Hello.

I have charts in excel sheets. I am trying to insert these charts as pictures but they are inserted as excel files (when I double click the chart in powerpoint, the whole excel sheet opens).

At home, I do not have this problem. I copy the chart then right click in powerpoint and choose paste special. it is copied as a picture!
I have powerpoint 2002 SP3 at work.

Either use paste special or when trying to copy, use SHIFT/EDIT and "Copy Picture"
