Import excel addies to new dist list

OLK2003.
I have an excel spreadsheet with name and email addy that I want to import to an olk2003 dist list.
But 2003 only allows import to the contact list, cant import to a separate dist list within the Contacts. My guess is because PAB no longer "exists" in outlook.
Anyone have any ideas on how I can import this list to a sub dist. list without adding it to the main Contacts list?

DLs can only contain contacts. Import them as Contacts, then add them to the DL. You can use Categories to organize them.
