I need to know the order in which to attempt importing my large Eudora email (thousands)
My old computer is very slow Windows.
I have new PC that has much more memory and much faster.

I know there is a way to import but is that only on the same PC?

I am slightly technically challenged.

Do I need to install Eudora on the new PC first to make the import smoother?

Then move each mailbox individually after setting it up on Eudora on the new PC?

Then import to Thunderbird?

Help!!!

Dear carolinh,
Copy the folder 'mail' that is mentioned in the properties of the shortcut you use to open Eudora to your new computer.
Then see if Thunderbird will import from that.
Let us know how you get on
The bit at the end of the shortcut properties should look like this:
C:\Mail
Or
C:\Program Files\Qualcomm\Eudora\Mail
or whatever as you only need to copy it to a USB key and then take that to your new computer and can be quite big...
My one is 257 Mb!
