Import Error Table

I am trying to import a excel spreadsheet into a Access database. In the table design, the fields have data types and field lengths. When I import the .xls, if a row of data does not import, I would like to see that row in a import error table. All I get is a error message saying that 300 rows didn't import.

I know there is a import error table. Why am I not getting it?

Don't know why you're not getting the Import Error table. But, I have a few comments/suggestions about your import problem.

I find that almost always my import errors for Excel spreadsheets are caused by data type mismatch errors between data in a particular Excel column and it's related Access column. For example, if I have an Excel spreadsheet with columns that may be made up of numbers but I know I'll never need to perform math on them, I save that column as TEXT and do the same in the Access table. The reason I do this is because if I save the Access table as numeric and for some reason the first row of the Excel spreadsheet for that column has a non-numerica character in the field that row won't import.

Don't know if this is why you're not getting all your rows imported, but I thought I'd share my experience with you just the same. Hope this helps.
