Hi

Since we use a anti-spam filter on our e-mail server (not hosted by us), our level of spam has dropped. One problem we encounter is that some e-mails are falsly blocked. We can download these mails from a web-based interface as .eml file. This is a file format for Outlook Express, but I can't manage to get this e-mail into Outlook 2003. I tried drag & drop, import/export, open with... When I want to open the file in Outlook 2003, outlook creates a new mail with the original mail as attachment.

How can I get these downloaded messages in my Outlook 2003 inbox?

Thanks

Steven

I think that the best way to do this would be to create an fresh Outlook express identity and then save the .EML files into Outlook Express.

Once there you could then use the Import / Export feature to export them out as a .PST file, then use the Import / Export feature in Outlook to import that PST File.

I can't see another way to do it but obviously it's going to be a bit of a pain if you have to do this regularly.

If you need information on how to use Import / Export, please just ask.

Hope this is helpful.

J.

I also thought about that, but the problem is I have pretty much e-mails that I would like to import. I'm afraid this wouldn't work for me.

Thanks anyway for the information!
