hi,
i have 1 external scsi-drive from a crashed system.
the new systen recognize the new drive as available.
how can i get the data available to the new system ???
AIX 4.3.3

thank's
peter

if the hdisk4 is not any volume group memeber then you can;t import it to the system.

in this case you can add the disk to any existing VG (man extendvg) or create new one build of this one disk (man mkvg). the data from crashed system you should then restore from a backup...
