In excel I have one row with all the data that is linked to another app(rslinx). Each cell is updated real time each second with data. What I want to do is at a time I request (say each hour) it will add this data to a access table. I know how to link everything what I can not do is add a new data record to the access table when I want to (say each hour or when someone pushes a button). I am trying to record this data that is being sent to excel. So each hour I want to record the data in c1 and add this data to a access table. If any one knows how to do this with out excell that would be the best way, but currently I can at least send the info to excel.

Hi, I do something similar to what you are describing. You can create a link table in Access to your spreadsheet.
Create an append query to append your row information in the Excel sheet to your Access table.
