I am trying to automate the manual bill processing at our shop. We get the bills electronically, and I want to create a cmd button that will open a dialog to slect the files, and then import the files as tables in the database. The names of the ensuing tables will be a combination of parameters specified on the current form, and the original CSV file names.
I have verry little experience with VBA, and was wondering where I should start?

First make sure your reference to Office9.0 is set. then research a command called filesearch. this will find the files and let you grab one. From there it is all about opening the file, reading the file and mapping it into place through via a Type. Thsi my be another topic you will want to reasearch "Types" I find them very valuable when inporting text strings.

Good luck
