I had AE 6.5 working fine... I added the plug-in for Avid Mojo & it works fine. But now the program shuts down with no error message when I go to import a file. I got 1 file to load by using the "import a recent file" but it's not the file I need. As soon as I click on "file" from the Import pulldown AE shuts down. I have tried to reset my "preferences" but I still have not found where the reset is. Is this an OPEN GL issue? Most important, is there an easy fix?
Many Many Many THANKS,

THIS PRINCE SOLVED MY PROBLEM- THANKS.

hello -

i had a similar issue a while back and i have the same video card you do. i was told to remove (if i remember properly) the file OpenGL3D .AEX file from C:\program files\adobe after effects 6.5\support files\plug-ins\standard\extensions ... that helped me out. you should give it a try. just place it on your desktop, try loading AE, and if it works, store the file away for safe keeping somewhere else other than its intended directory.

The card was a Nvidia (even though my problem was not on the same model of Nvidia, but the fix still worked on my Nvidia card)

Thank you, i had same prob and removed all openGL 3d files. Worked liked a charm, thanx Leo.
