My wife's hard drive crashed. It makes a "chic-chic" sounds when I power it up. It will not boot up. I have gotten her another drive and installed it. It has Windows XP and Office 2003. I can install her old drive as a slave and get into most everything. My problem is that I can't figure out how to import her bookmarks from IE6

Can you locate the original favourites on the old HDD? They should be stored in the following location:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Favorites (note the American spelling)

You can simply copy them across to the new installation, following the same folder structure and IE will automatically pick them up when next launched.

HTH.

Ooops - of course you'll need to replace "C:\" with the relevant drive letter when retrieving the favourites from the original drive.
