Import Binary Data

I have a text file that has 2 fields with binary data. When I try to import the file, the records with nothing in those fields get all messed up..Any suggestions?

Hallo,

Do you want the binary data?
You could pre-process the file (say in a word macro), then import it.
I would write some code to read the file into a table, but that's more complex.

No, I don't need the data. If I could just remove that part before I import it that would be great, just not really sure how to do that.

Hallo,

Can you open the file in Word, as a plain text file?

If you can then you can record a macro to delete the bits you want.
