Hello Tek-Tippers,
I have an ODBC driver defined to import a table from an AS400. I set it up as a User DSN. I then created a Macro in Access (2000) that deletes the previous Access table so that can get the latest version of the table from the AS400.
It works OK except when I log off the PC (Windows 2000 pro), log back on, start Access, and run the Macro, the ODBC file window pops up and is defaulted on the 'file DSN' tab, with the other tab being 'machine data source'. If I select 'machine data source' and then the ODBC, it works ok until I log off again.
Why does it not see/remember the ODBC until tell it where it is the first time?
