Import 1 cell from Excel into Access

Good Afternoon:

I am trying to import a single cell from an Excel spreadsheet using an Access query.


I can import the entire spreadsheet, but cannot separate the cell I need.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
According to Microsoft, you cannot import a single cell. However, you can insert a named range, which could include the cell you want, plus an adjacent empty cell. Here is the Microsoft FAQ on this topic:
