Hi,

I have two servers rx1620, one of it is standby server.
Both connected to EVA5000. I made Snapclone of disk presented to main server on EVA5000. Imported it on standby server, but when I try to mount this disk I get an error

#mount /dev/vg03/oradata /ld02
UX:vxfs mount: ERROR: V-3-21268: /dev/vg03/oradata is corrupted. needs checking

How I can mount this disk. On main server it works properly.

Have you tried to check the fs?

fsck /dev/vg03/oradata

and then mount it if the logical volume is CLEAN

This is Unix-Land. In quiet nights, you can hear the Windows machines
reboot.

I had to check the fs, but it return the error incorrect vxfs system.
Now I resolve this problem by inserting string in fstab and reboot server. During rebooting system, it is cleaning super blocks of vxfs system.

I want to know, how can I clean super bloks without rebooting system

I find script /sbin/bcheckrc it is checking, recovering and mounting existing volume groups

Good find, bcheckrc is a boot time script that is used for exactly what you are using it for.

You could use the fsck command ...
