I was just tasked with implementing SSH on our AIX servers. I have searched the IBM web site and haven't found anything except for Linux. Can someone please point me in the right direction so that I can figure out how to make it work?

I need to know both what has to happen on the server as well as what is going to be needed on the clients to connect. We currently use telnet, VNC, and FTP. How will these functions change when we go to a secure shell environment?

Thanks in advance, Einstein47

Question for Axel,

I thought that zlib 1.1.3.2 had a security hole. I did see a newer version of zlib (1.1.4.0), should I use that instead?

Much thanks, Einstein47

Openssh will ask for zlib 1.1.3.2 or later version..
So u can go ahead and use the newer version to have SSH software..

All the best..
