Have any of you managed a site that contains databases and/or forms while using a web host service as opposed to your own web server? Frontpage provides great wizards and application help for the advanced features, but they require particular settings on the server (i.e, database connections and email handling). Presumably, if frontpage extensions are configured on the server, I should be good to go, but this has not been my experience. I run into error message after error message directing me to have the system administrator (we don't have one -- this would be my web host company) make some adjustment in the configuration of the frontpage extensions. I am having a terrible experience with this and don't know whether it is the company or if it is ill advised to try implementing advanced features when you can't configure the server yourself. Are there other options? [sig][/sig]
