We have a plan to implement 6 digits speed dialing in Headquarter.
Description: Headquarter in NYC, 3 branch offices in ATL, LA and Chicago.
ATL office DID number range 404-123-xxxx
LA office DID number range 310-456-xxxx
Chicago office DID number range 773-789-xxxx

NYC user can dial 41-xxxx to reach ATL office, and 42-xxxx to LA, and 43-xxxx to Chicago.

I plan to create AC2=4, and add SPN1, 2, 3

Chicago office DID number range 773-789-xxxx

for that set up i would push 7 digit dialing, the user does not need to know the city the station is in.. from atl, remove ext 3104, add 310 456 as a dsc, then delete 6 and just send the xxxx.. i usually also send 9 1 310 calls to that remote switch via a tie line.. along with any other calls that are local to the LA switch... as long as you have both ends of the call you can cut ld by using your tie's..

a code per office works but things tend to get to complex.. i never use ac2.. just usually dsc's.. and i have networked a dozen switches together that way, it takes a little planning but it's not that bad

I assume when i dial 41-xxxx, it will send 1404123-xxxx instead. But system only send out 1404123x, missing the last 3 digits.

DIAL DN 14041233

What's wrong?

You stated DMI 10 but printed DMI 8 can you confirm which is correct?

I have not studied this in depth, but somehow I think it has to do with the NCDP value in the ESN datablock. See what happens when you set it to the number of digits the user is dialing to place the call....which in your first post would be six digits (for 41-xxxx)
