Ive currently been drawing using an imperial setup & entering imperial units. I now would like to enter a few metric parts to it.

Can this be done rather than converting all the metric lengths into imperial units (i.e. 10mm = 0.3936 inch)??

Thanks in advance

You could save a copy of drawing to another name, "metricize" it by scaling it to mm (scale up by 25.4 if it was drawn in inches). Now in this drawing enter metric parts. Those metric parts can be pasted/inserted into the original drawing by scaling them down by the 25.4 factor.

Yeah, i thought about that but in the end i have done the drawing in 2 stages. So as the manufacturer makes the first stage in imperial then completes it with the second stage in metric which actually works well as it unclutters the drawing.

Thanks anyway.
