Hello everyone,

I was wondering if any of you had encountered this problem yourselves. I am using Impromptu 6.0 Administrator, and when prompted to save or cancel (could be a report save, a change to catalog folders) I receive the following Program Error:

ImpAdmin.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created.

This is extremely frustrating as I may or may not save my work while creating new reports. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I suffer the same problem. Firstly it's worth upgrading to 6.1, because 6.0 is no longer supported and also gives errors when calculating summaries on grouped data (it may have other bugs, but I found this one myself). The only solution I've found is what you effectively suggest at the end of your post - make sure you save changes regularly. I no longer make mass changes in catalogs without saving in between, as it soon ends in tears!

But if anyone else knows the answer - I'm all ears
