.img headaches!

I need to decompress a .img file on my mac. It is the dev tools from apple and they said to use DiskCopy. I got both that are on their ftp and both give me a "-39" error when they startup. Then one of my Mac friends (I'm a PC guy) told me to use shrinkwrap. It doesn't work. It also gives me an error but a "-9" instead any suggestions on how to decompress this 23mb .img file?

You definitely need diskcopy. Do you get the -39 error on running diskcopy or when opening the img?

If it is the diskcopy, download it again. If it is the file, download that again. Something is corupt.
