Imasrv.exe keeps crashing - Eventid:26 Application error

Hello,

We have two W2K+SP2 servers running XPa SP2/FR2, that keep getting error 26 and stopping Imasrv.exe. It makes server unresponsive and we have to manually restart the IMA service.

This issue is happening three or four times a week and is very annoying because no evident solution is given in the knowledge base.

Anyone can help us?

Are you running anything on that server that installs it's own copy of an MDAC?

No. Just Office and a couple of custom applications. But reinstalling MDAC 2.7SP1 was one of the steps I would like to perform.
