Hi Folks,
I run a graphics department where I need an IMAP mail server that can handle a "nested" folder structure to effectively manage incoming mail.
The way I read the Mercury help file, it should be possible to setup a main folder for a user that consists of several sub folders containing messages, as long as the main folder does not [contain messages]....
"folders can contain either messages, or other folders, but not both" (mercury help file)
I want to set up a nested structure as follows (as the simplest example) - Ideally with the option of another sub-folder set:
[USER]
- FOLDER1
- FOLDER2
- FOLDER3
Using Mercury's "move" rule I have successfully moved mail to these sub-folders, but the folders are not visible to Outlook express, and are missing all of the config info (completely empty save for the moved email).
Setting up multiple users is simply not practical for the number of folders I would require.
Any suggestions?
