IMAIL Web interface problem

I am having a problem with the IMAIL (v8.1) web interface. When forwarding a message with HTML in it IMAIL does not forward the HTML. IMAIL Support tells me this is because the message is a multi-part mime message and that the first part is empty. They are only sending that part. Anyone have any suggestions? Ipswitch tells me that this is the designed behavior and maybe they will change it someday, which does not help my users.
