IMail Server not Relaying

Within IMail Server I have set the SMTP Services to Relay, however mail is not making it pass the server.
Any ideas what might be causing this?

Forgot to mention that I am able to get mail externally and enternally but mail will not go out to external.

What i would do is go to a command promt and type "netstat". check the state of the connections. also another thing is to make sure the Imail Monitor is not monitoring

server). to do that open Imail Administrator ->localhost -> Services ->Monitor and make sure the box that says "

http://WWW (web

server) is unchecked.

If that works write back and let me know. also remember to reboot after that. thanks
