Imail Problems

Currently I am installing Imail on a new server. We have it setup but when we check mail with outlook express it says we have 3 messages and hangs there. It will not download mail at all. If we do the same thing on the server it works fine.

Also sending mail, it will not send SMTP mail, it connects to the other server sends RCPT, DATA and it appears to timeout there. the last thing in the log before SMTP_SEND_FAILURE is "s: s" Any one know what means.

Need help soon.

Have you tried logging onto the I-Mail server via

http://servername:8383.

(I'm guessing you have based on when I check the server comment, but I just wondered) This should give you a web interface to see if you do have mail. (Nice I-Mail feature)
The reason I ask is this will tell you if it's the server or the OE setup causing the problem. Good luck. Glen A. Johnson
