Imail and dial-up

I'm new to mail servers area.
Does Imail v7 can be setup with Win2000 server
to dial-up to ISP and "collaborate" with
ISP POP3 or IMAP server in a way:
When it is connected to ISP to accept the mail;
when it isn't mails go to ISP pop|imap;
when again connect - to collect the mail from ISP
as a "bulk" and to give mail to all users appropriately.
