Zfd4 imaging formats the partition and starts to push the image down, copies about two files then exits with the above error code in red.
Also below it says imaging exited with error: 200 but there is no reference to this on the Novell site.
Any ideas?

Zfd3 or Zfd4? I've seen this when the image has more than 16,000 files.

There are also a couple of beta patches for ZFD4 that are to help resolve this error.

ZfD4 (see first word of original post!?)
I've applied all the latest patches up to patch 3 but didn't work.
Actually read somewhere about it being caused by having a base image that was taken from a manufacturers (Dell in this case) rollout image.
I FDISK'd and rebuilt the machine from scratch, then took the base image from it, I've been able to push the new base image out to other machines OK now.

We are using ZenImaging (ZfD3.2) and have run into this problem occasionally. The computers having the problem were latest generation of Compaq's Evo computers. We determined that the cd-rom drives in these new pc's were balking at the multi-session cd we used for distributing the image.
Proof: replace cd-rom with older drive and worked just fine. imaging worked off the server when it failed via cd.
Solution: converted our image into single session cd. No problems since.
