I've rehabilitated an Imagewriter II for use with my Mac system and am going to be writing a couple of programs to use it. However, I don't have (never had) the manual for the printer so don't have access to what, in the DOS world, are called the Escape sequences - the codes sent to the printer to create bold, italic, etc. text. I'm presuming, of course, that the Imagewriter II can DO that kind of stuff.

Anyway, can't find a reference on the these and was wondering if anyone had either a copy of the IW II manual they'd be willing to loan me OR, at my expense, copy just the codes I'll need for the programs. I'd also be willing to purchase a copy of the manual - but don't really expect to find one. <g>

Thanks in advance.

you want to use the imagewriter as a text printer? you may need a Apple II manual as the Mac never writes text, just graphics in the shape of letters. I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
