Images won't copy over between Excel books

Hi

I have excel 2000.
I have been trying to copy a sheet to another workbook, but the images won't copy, I don't know why.

I've tried CTRL A, then pasting to the next book, and edit, move sheet..........nothing works

I've tried the image properties at "move and size with cells" and "move but don't size with cells", and the images are not locked.

anyone know a way around this?

Are both workbooks open in the same instance of excel ?
