Images showing-not showing

I have an image folder in htdocs,and some of the images will show up on my web page and others wont,and their in the same folder,also my links folder dont work>?
and i tried all or many ways of code.

oops, I didn't see this post. I answered (well, kinda) in your other thread. Basically I said we may have to take a peek at the error logs. On the "links folder" issue, what do you mean "don't work"? Are you talking about an Aliased directory? Give me the exact path to the /images directory and I will post an example directory container and examples of how they are access from a webpage or browser.

... If someone doesn't beat me to it. ;-)

It seems that I have to call up the image in the browser cut the part of the path that I need for src="../image/arrow.gif" Dose that make any sence,Im useing windows xp .It seems that when I type in the code it won't work.Got me on that one.
