Images not floating left

Hi, I'm making a page where I have images floating left, and the paragraph that relates to them floating along side them. All is working fine accept for one point. The image acts as if I've asked it to position itself relative to the picture above, so it indents itself to the right and then performs everything, ie; floating the text beside it. The next image below this picture however, will position itself properly. All the code is the same for each image and css, and no matter what picture I put there, it does the same thing. Any ideas? This is happening on Firefox AND IE 7. I'll paste some html code and the css for it if needed.

I "think" Ive had this before and its down to the amount of text in your paragraph, if its not enough to make enough lines to cover the height of the picture then you get some strange results.

Add [tt]clear: both;[/tt] to the image declaration as well. Your images are being floated just like text next to the other image, because there is still space. If you clear each image, you should not have these problems anymore.

Thank you both! Vragabond once again you've been helpful! It's always the small things. I wondered also about the amount of text next to the picture, but hadn't thought of putting more in to push everything back down.
