I'm trying to create a flash movie using gif images I have created in another application.

I copy and paste the images into the flash movie but they come out very poor quality and also seem to be smaller than the original gifs I created.

Does anyone know whats going on.

Thanks
(PS I'm a flash newbie so forgive me if this is a stupid question)

Well the first thing that will help is don't copy and paste into flash. Use file>import>import to stage.

You can also use import to Library. If you use import to library you will need to go to Window>Library so you can see the library and then drag the image from the library to the stage.

If the quality is still a little to low for you right click on the image in the library and select Properties. Change the compression from jpeg to gif/png (lossless).

I would also recommend taking a look at the topics on importing under Help.

Hope it helps!

Wow JT that almost looked like you knew what you were doing!
