Images / Links - on off

I have 3 icons/small images, all these have href links.
dark1on.gif,dark1off.gif,
dark2on.gif,dark2off.gif,
dark3on.gif,dark3off.gif,

I have a href link to dark1on.gif, when I click on dark1on.gif I want to go to this href link, and show dark1off.gif showing or identifying, that I am in this dar1off.gif page.

all these icons and href links are stayin in header.asp file.I want to do the same with dark2on.gif and dark3on.gif

any coding help please, or similar code please.

Have your header file read the page name it's included on and use the appropriate images for that page.
