Hi there.
I am saving reports as Rich Text Format (RTF extension) so I can use my modem fax to fax them through.

However, when I do so, any images (I have a logo on the top) and any dividing lines dissappear.

Could someone please advise if there is a way around this, perhaps another format?

I have saved it as other formats but they all have same problem. Printing it seems to be the only way the images and lines stay on the report...

Your help is appreciated

Yes, there is another format that Microsoft provides that can be loaded that will complete preserve all graphics and images in your reports. It is called SnapShot .snp format. You can download the free SnapShotView executeable from Micosoft and install it on your PC.

After installation your can save your reports in this view, print, and fax that full image. You can also save the reports and email them using SendObjects. The only problem there the receiving PC must also have the SnapShot Viewer installed. But, it is free and you can send along the executeable with the report.

Good Luck.

Rather dissapointing Access cannot keep the format of the reports....

Have a look at at Here you can download a printer driver that outputs to PDF files, keeping all your formating intact. It's free if you can put up with the adverts.
It might not be what you are after, but it's another option.

Thanks Oharab

Sounds like PDF is a good alternative.
I´ll test it and will see if it´s what I need.

Thanks again

Dear Oharab
The PDF works great!
Thank you

Do you know a way of automatically saving the PDF file, so the SAVE AS box doesn´t open up everytime ?
