Images in vc++.net

I am trying to get a picture box to update using a timer every 1sec.

how do i associate the timer event with the picture box image?

Use SetTimer in the dialog containing the picture box. When you get a WM_TIMER message, change the picture in the picture box. Can't remember if you need to KillTimer before exiting the dialog.

you dont associate timer event with images.

you set the timer event and in the handler change the image in the picture box

simple as that
