images in Email from web source.

Hi everyone,
I have a standard Email design with an image at the top and one at the bottom. I want the scource files of these images to be on my website, therefore making the size of the Email very low. However when I set the source file to my image on my website, the email size is still 26 KB, obviously loading the images into the email instead of just linking them. I hope this is clear enough, can anyone help me?

It sounds like whatever package you are using to generate these emails is grabbing all resources needed and including them locally. Either that, or the source of your email is hugely bloated at 26Kb.

Suggest looking into the manual / help file, or contacting the tech support for the HTML email package you are using.
