images as <option>

Does anyone know how to put images as the <option> dropdown choices?

You will have to create a custom control for that using css and javascript. The only other way would be to use background images but that will not work cross-browser or cross-OS.

A variation on something we're discussing in the JavaScript forum right now might help:

It's a fake drop-down. Really just an expanding/shrinking IFRAME with a fake arrow next to it to LOOK like a drop-down. Requires JavaScript.
