Apache serves pages with images fine over WWW, and also does so from some LAN hosts. One LAN hosts won't display images (jpg or gif). This particular machine is running Win Explorer 6.0. Anyone have any experience of this?
Do you mean Internet Explorer? It's been many moons since I've worked with Windows but I remember a graphic program I had stole the association for that File Type. So windows would try to pass all files of that type and extension to it. To check, open windows explorer on that machine and look at a file with a .jpg or .gif extention and see what icon is used. This will tell you what program windows is associating it with. If this isn't the problem, check the preferences and if you have no luck there try a different version of IE.
