I have imported an avi video that I made with my digital camera into Imageready. When I place text or do a line draw on any one layer it shows up on all of the layers. I don't want it to do that. I have been unable to locate where I can single out the one layer I want to place text on. If I click on the layer in question and it has a paintbrush and eye on the layer thumbnail, and it is highlighted in the animation window it still makes changes to all the layers. Say there is layers 1-1835. If I want a text name or line draw on layer 500 only, what do i do to select that layer so that its the only one that gets edited and the others do not repeat the changes?
