Hi there,

I want to bring a transparent image into flash, what is the best settings to save the image as?

I'm bringing the image in as a transparent gif, but it seems to be jagged and pixelated round the edges of the image.

.png is a better format for transparent images and doesn't give you the rough edge. The filesizes are big but you can add futher compression within Flash in the image's propeties panel (right click on the image in the library to get to this).
