Does someone know of a good tutorial for slicing images for the web. I've got the basic idea but can't seem to get things to slice or load in an orderly fashion.

thanks
bch

Macromedia Fireworks and Adobe Imageready both have built in functionality for creating and exporting slices easily. A lot more simple than trying to get it right manually.

Yes, I'm using Image ready but when I have multiple "sliced" images that all belong on one page, how do I put the second third and fourth html file on one page?
I tried copying the html pages to the one page but the images don't come with it unless it was originally created on that particular html page.
Thanks
bch

Hi bch,

All you have to do is cut and paste the entire table from one document to the other. Initially, the images will appear as broken links because you have moved the location of the table in regards to the location of the images. You then simply need to change each of the image sources to point back at the original images, and everything should work fine. Hope this helps :) Nick (Web Designer)
