Image signature in OWA

Has anyone tried to put a text and image signature using the following method and got it to work??

I'm using IE7 and OWA. I try to paste an image from paint and the paste option is greyed out. I then try to open the image from IE and copy, allows me to paste but the image dosn't show. I save it anyway and try to send a mail, and IE kicks me out. Tried this several ways on an XP machine and a Server 2003 machine, no luck. Some help would be great.

Crazy question, does your Exchange environment meet this minimum requirement?
"You have exchange 2003 SP2 running on windows 2003 SP1 "

They also speak of adding text along with the image for it to save. Did you do that?

Also Microsoft’s stand on this is that we cannot have images in OWA signatures, and hence is not a supported configuration.

I wonder if anyone else in these forums has completed this. I will try it in my test environment and get back to you.

Yes,meets the minimum and tried it with text.

I could not get it to work in my test environment. I did not try to many types of images, just bmp, jpeg, gif. None of them would paste.

The only work around I could find, was to e-mail the signature from outlook and save it as a draft mail. Will do for now, but would rather a better solution.

This isn't supported and I don't know if you'd be able to implement it through some kind of unsupported back door.
