Image 'Save As' comes up bmp instead of jpg 1

I am having trouble saving jpgs in IE. When I right-click on a picture, the dialog box always comes up "save as bmp" with filename "untitled." It used to come up as jpg (or gif) with the filename already there. If I choose to email the picture, it sends it as a jpg with the correct name. Anybody know how to correct this?

Also try...

Going to IE tools, internet options, general tab and delete all temporary internet files.

Checking for damaged files by going to Start, Run, type in ..\downloaded program files (also accessed via IE tools, internet options, settings button (TIF), view objects button. If found, right click and select update or delete depending on what they are, and whether they are needed.
