Image Rollovers

Hey,

I am creating a webpage in Dreamweaver. And I wanted image rollover which I implemeted using Dreamweavers rollover wizard, if thats what you call it. The wizard had an option "preloaded images" allready set, so I just left it like that.

Now the rollovers work fine, but I noticed they are unusally slow. The images are about 1k each so I dont think its cause of the size. I have been to sites where the rollover happen in an instant.

Eg, on my site, if you run over all the rollover images quickly, not all of them will activate, you need to go slower over them.

Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks for your time...

Don't use Dreamweaver's old method of image rollovers and rather try to employ one of the newer and better methods of css rollovers:

I am using this type of CSS image rollover in conjuction with a UL here:-

Originally I got the CSS from here:-

However I've had to hack it to work in a vertical menu. As you can see it's not quite right - For some reason there is a margin to the left of the button which I don't want which in turn is cutting off the button so you cannot see the right hand edge of the image.

Any suggestions?
