When I take a screenshot (alt+print screen) & paste into Frontpage the resulting image quality is very poor. Frontapage is pasting the image as a very low quality Gif. I have frontpage on my laptop (same version & OS) however when I paste a screenshot on this machine it convers it to a jpg of reasonable quality. Does anyone know where to define how images are pasted in terms of type and quality.

I suspect this may be a registry setting rather than in FrontPage haoever I am unsure.

Thanks,

Barry

The problem is that FrontPage is not really made for creating images, since its purpose is to create Web pages. Yes, it does allow you do it, but you'll do far better working with a program that specializes in what you want to do. I'd suggest you use an image program for the screenshots, since you'll be able to control the quality better. You should save one original of the image, and then make a copies you can experiment with until you get what you're looking for. GIF is the best format for screen shots.

This is to inefficient a suggestion. I am documenting software therefore I am performing hundreds of sceenshots. For increased efficiency I require to paste directly to Frontpage. I know this is possible as it works operfectly on my laptop with the same versions running however as I said before I think this may be a general Windows setting however I am not certain of this. Any further suggestions would be appreciated.
